Claudia couldn't help a small smile as the first motion sensor got tripped. Given that she'd let all the others go as soon as they were done with the movie, there wasn't any doubt who had come. The device had been...enhanced by a rather interesting witch who had been a tiny bit disappointed to be used for one of the ingredients. She really should have learned to negotiate better before she started using magic to get ahead.

Still, it gave her time to turn on the warming oven on a fresh batch of perfectly ordinary chocolate chip cookies that had been waiting for just this occasion. She still had most of a pot of coffee, but she doubted Gabriel would enjoy that hellish brew. It was just a matter of waiting now, and seeing who made the first move.
