Claudia remembered that clever tongue, and couldn't help leaning forward to watch just exactly Gabriel was doing, hoping she might be able to do that. Would Lucifer praise her, too? It would be nice, but hardly necessary.

She also wondered why Gabriel was so disgusted by her no longer being human. As a demon she wouldn't have to grow old or die of anything short of a properly enchanted weapon. Still, she wanted to see this, reacting to it and wondering what it would be like if she were allowed to join them. One archangel was mindblowingly amazing, so what would two be like? Would she be able to survive, even with the gifts Lucifer had given her?

The thought makes her lick her lips, watching intently, trying to take everything in.
