Trapped in the past?

Claudia didn't know exactly how it had happened, but the guy she'd been trying to snag an artifact from had caught her instead. She remembered being dragged through some kind of portal, and a conversation with some very strangely-dressed individuals that would have scared even some of the toughs she'd known in her time on the streets. It had been hours before she really understood what had happened, to get even a slight grip on the foreign words and sights around her. Somehow, she'd been sent back in time, when exactly she wasn't certain, and given over to these scoundrels to do with as they pleased. It wasn't until she saw the city that she even knew where she was. Nobody could mistake Rome, even this ancient shining city.

Her wrists tied together and into a string with the other unfortunates, the only real indignities she'd been spared were being stripped of her possessions and raped. From the little she could catch, they thought she would being them quite a small fortune as a wonder. Maybe even one of the senators would find her worth having, and it wouldn't do to damage the goods unnecessarily. Still, she had quite a few bruises and a blackening eye from the casual 'encouragements' she'd received. A halting attempt at what she knew of Latin and Greek had only resulted in snickering laughter and an incomprehensible reprimand with a threatening knife at her mouth. Apparently their definition of 'damaged goods' didn't include the ability to speak.

Now, she was turned over to the slave auction, and there, nothing could have prepared her for the indignities. Her clothes, much the worse for wear after all the travel were unceremoniously stripped off her in front of the noisy crowd as one man gave a long-winded description of her, enthusiasm clear even through the language barrier. She struggled against the touches of interested parties, only her bonds keeping her from being able to strike back.

She'd yanked away from yet another impertinent squeeze when she finally saw a familiar face. It made her gasp, her thoughts latching onto the name that went with it in what might have been a prayer of salvation, but she had to get his attention. And if he was the one from this time, she couldn't just call him by name. Not his real name. Still, she knew one of those he'd used in the millenia he'd been hanging around pretending not to be an archangel.

"Loki! Help me!" The words were in modern english, and that was probably a mistake, but she was too distracted to try for something more appropriate to the era just now. She had to get his attention, maybe get the eager shoppers to give her some space. She had to get out of here.

Gabriel presses into the kiss hard with his tongue invading her mouth even as he shifts to nudge her legs apart with his knee, lining himself up and sinking into her in fairly short order. He breaks the kiss as he gives her a moment to adjust before he starts the first slow roll of his hips forwards to drive himself in.

The intensity with which he takes her is more than enough to take her breath away, but once she manages to find it, it's hard to protest too much. "Impatient, aren't you?"

It isn't the bad kind, though, her body tightening around him in anticipation, hands going to his hips, fingers digging in what would be bruisingly hard if he were human. She didn't want him to stop, but without foreplay, it was a little uncomfortable.

"It's been awhile," he comments, hips still rolling forwards as he looks for the best angle. He's sure that will take care of any complaints her body may have.

Claudia bit down on her lower lip when he finds that angle, but it doesn't quite distract her yet. She shifts a hand from his hip to one of his nipples, pinching and twisting. "Slow down a bit...give a girl a chance to loosen up."

Gabriel shudders and slows as she asks despite the urge to increase his speed and force instead. As he's said, it's been awhile.

"Remember, I can't take everything you've got," she said, but she tries to find a way to move with him, moaning as he delves deeper with every thrust. "Not to mention we have all night..."

"Sure, if you don't care about functioning in the morning," he teases, maintaining his current slow pace for now.

"You'll do plenty of that," she promises. "But remember the village would expect certain outcomes if we start having crazy monkey sex all the time..."

"And somehow, I've never gotten anyone they know pregnant," Gabriel says with a brief shrug after a pause in what he was doing.

"How many women have you taken to bed that they know of?" Claudia pointed out. She had heard of perhaps two or three in the time he'd been here that were more than essentially housekeepers. "On second thought, I probably don't want to know right now."

Less talking, more sex, that was the idea, right?

"Probably not, no," he agrees, once again starting to increase the force and pace of his thrusts, doing so slowly.

She can't help moaning at that, her body moving to meet his, guiding him as she starts to open more. It feels so good, for all the half-formed doubts still floating around. Claudia knows she loves Gabriel, so why should it matter that it's in the past?

"That's it, there!" she encourages, her breath starting to come in soft pants.

Gabriel's hips start to snap forwards harder although not faster. Not yet.

Claudia heard the soft sounds escaping her to punctuate each deep thrust, but her mind was consumed by other things. He glided across her g-spot, her body wet for him now, almost perfect. It felt strange, different, even though she reached to stroke and tease in ways she had learned Gabriel liked.

She was almost glad Gabriel was so fucking distracting because otherwise she might have been trying to keep the two times straight and giving herself a migraine in the process.

Now he starts increasing his speed, gradually rolling his hips forwards faster. Little shivers go through him as she touches him. She's clearly had experience with what he likes. Experience he hasn't had a chance to have with her yet.

Some of those shivers spark her own, and while she realizes she might have a tiny advantage, the man above her can also read her mind, see what she's thinking or, more appropriately not thinking if he's doing things right.

Yes, indeed he can. Although most of it will have to wait a bit. He continues making sure to hit the best spot for her as he works on racing his way to completion.

It's perfect, each stroke gliding that perfect place, drawing her closer to the yawning abyss of pleasure. He was still a little rushed, but that was its own kind of torment.

His own needs are a tad bit distracting at the moment. "Think you're about ready to come for me?" he murmurs.

She had to bite her tongue on the once-natural comment of "God, yes," because nothing ruined an intimate moment faster, but she nodded, hips still struggling to move with him, against him.

"Please, Loki, please."

His hips snap forwards faster and harder, approaching the limits of what was a good idea for her, now holding back his release for the moment.

She can't help making soft sounds as he pounds into her, just the right side of too much, and it drives her right over the edge. Claudia claws down his back as she comes, hard enough that any mortal man might be bleeding, trying to hold on as her body writhes with need.

Claudia tightening around him is his cue to let go and his hips only snap forwards once more before he's filling her, a shudder running through him. Once he's done, his body relaxes on top of her. "So, ready for another round?"

Claudia almost laughs at his reaction, because, honestly, she did need a little time to catch her breath. "That bad a dry spell?"

"I spent a month in Rome not getting laid and then another chunk of time running around and also not getting laid," he points out drily.
