When it comes to this - this feeling - there's nothing like it in existence. Two angels entangled; their spirits as well as their bodies. There was no replacing it, no replacement for his brothers. No replacement for Gabriel. Their sheer power didn't have any mimic, and together--together it was an effort to keep the fabric of the world from cracking apart around them

He changed his position over Gabriel, bringing his knee down between his legs rather than straddling across them, and he ground up against him.
