A Musebox

Garth'zel doesn't really remember the events that led to him being in carbonite again. But he certainly remembers the treasure hunting idiots who set him free and tried to exhort a ransom out of him, much to their detriment. It was probably just as well for them that he eliminated them before he found out how much time had passed. Otherwise, things would not have been pleasant for them, due to needing someone or something to vent his rage and grief on. As soon as he had felt up to travel, he loaded the things he thought best not left behind into their ship and collapsed the storage room behind him, burying the twisted remains of the carbonite block and a great deal of what remained inside. It's probably best to make it look like it collapsed in on the people who disturbed it; covering his tracks.

Months later, thanks to the discovery that at least one of his emergency accounts still existed, he has a newer ship that he's much happier with. Given the state the galaxy is in, he'd much prefer a fast ship in good condition than the tub he had to steal. At first he had wandered aimlessly, but his travels eventually gained purpose. Nar Shaddaa, to check if something Revan had left behind still remained; it didn't. Taris, to see how it's changed from his time; the lack of rakghouls trying to eat him every five minutes was a welcome change, even if he's mixed about it being rebuilt. The ruins it was in back in his time did have a beauty of their own. Korriban, to see what remained of the Sith Academy to look for anything that may have been left behind or hidden.

As he traveled, he kept a look out for anything he thought would be best off in his control, lest they be put to use to cause trouble. Republic or Separatists, he doesn't want either group to have them, although he was more concerned about the latter. At least the Republic wouldn't deliberately cause wide-spread destruction. Eventually, rumors lead him to Toprawa to investigate the possibility of something left behind by the Sith. It wouldn't surprise him in the least, given the fighting over the planet that's happened even before his time.

A few days of chasing down leads later, he's off to a cave system mostly frequented by the young or fool-hardy. The stories about unfortunate happenings all pointed there. If something was left behind, he's sure that's where it would be.
