Gabriel catches the piece of green pepper and eats it. If it's getting thrown at him, he's eating it.
"Nah. Noble is actually making it to the volcano instead of getting distracted by food. Or, you know. Whatever." Of course, then things might not go as planned at the volcano, but that's taking this a little further than needed.
