Gabriel looks down at his brother's hand and then back up at his face. "Yeah, it has."
no subject
"Longer than it should have been."
no subject
Gabriel's keeping his own hands in place, uncertain what to do with them. He can figure it out later.
no subject
"So I've graduated from archangel to blanket? That's good to know."

He exhaled into his brother's hair, then tipped his head, bluntly grazing his teeth against Gabriel's jaw. He'd promised not to hurt him, so he couldn't, and his mouth was soft. "What if I've changed my mind?"
no subject
"Changed your mind about what?" Oh yeah. Gabriel definitely noticed that and he fists his hand in the back of Lucifer's shirt reflexively.
no subject
"I want to know what new tricks you've learned, since I stopped teaching them to you."
no subject
As seen by the fact he got out of the hotel alive. Badly injured, but alive.

He moved up, and kissed the corner of his brother's mouth. "Show me, Gabriel."

"This wasn't exactly what I came here for."
no subject
Then his brother kisses him and he shorts out for a moment, blinking up at him. "No, I imagine not. Which leads me to ask what you did show up for."
no subject
He kissed him again, but still not intently, still only curiously.
"I can feel your grace, Gabriel. But if this isn't you, then show me. No more copies."

Gabriel wouldn't lie to him.
HahahaAnd once more he closed his lips on Gabriel's, lingering now, bringing his hand up to wrap around his brother's jaw, his touch as gentle as the brush of feathers.
no subject
Gabriel makes a soft sound, pressing into the kiss and tightening his grip on the back of his brother's shirt again.
no subject
Always gentle, because those were the rules he'd laid down, and he didn't expect Gabriel to release him from them. This was the reunion he'd been hoping for; not deceit and betrayal.
no subject
Gabriel makes another quiet sound, opening his mouth for Lucifer and letting his tongue meet his; the hand on the back of his brother's head sliding down to rest on his back and join the first hand fisted in the back of the shirt.
no subject
He'd still successfully got his hug, though, which was an advantage. So was the opportunity to explore Gabriel's mouth at will, which he took full advantage of. Power, anticipation--a shiver of his wings that sounded more like the rustle of a million silver bells. His hand released Gabriel's jaw, moving down to instead pluck open the buttons of his shirt.
Corrupting an angel really wasn't the same thing. But he'd begun this in the very beginning, fraying at the perfect edges of another of his father's sons, loving Gabriel; protecting him; but twisting him too, giving him the independent spirit that Lucifer had fought to develop all on his own. Now those chickens were coming home to roost. If anything was a betrayal of their design, then this had to be it.
no subject
Gabriel rocks his hips up as Lucifer goes for his shirt, making an eager sound into the kiss. The stress and worry of earlier is falling away in the face of other priorities.
no subject
So many smartass things he could say in that moment, if he didn't have a mouthful of Gabriel's tongue, Gabriel's noises. He shifted his own body, locking himself across Gabriel's thigh, where no part of that stimulating movement could be lost, returning the favor just as eagerly.
no subject
He'd only meant to rock up once, but as it seems his brother wants more, he keeps moving; getting more turned on as he does so.
no subject
"If only I'd known this was the way to get you on side," he purred. "And you're right--you were right, Gabriel. Only an angel could ever satisfy me. Aren't you even a little curious what you've been missing out on? What real divinity feels like?"
no subject
Right, time to actually answer his brother. More or less. "I might be."
