When they come here, it's interesting to watch, because the people all nod and smile, but then tell him that it is another of his tricks because their village prospers at his hand. They both expect you to abandon them and trust that you wont."

She can't understand it, but then, she never was particularly faithful in any religion. Too much of the artifacts they found could have been godstouched, and yet which god was debatable. Poseidon's trident or Pele's spear, for example.
