She didn't like the fact that she was lying, or at least misleading these people through their religion, but the truth was even more confusing. "I tried explaining, and someone thought I was talking about a huge Quest, and it got really bad with everyone worrying. There's going to be trouble if I leave without some reason they'll accept losing me over."
And she would leave, she hoped. Because there had to be a way back through time to prevent things in her life from going completely FUBAR.
