Claudia doesn't stop for a while, unable to move or relieve the sensations of her body being burned from the inside out. Even the knowledge that it wouldn't kill her isn't enough to help her silence the sounds. Blood joins the other fluids dripping along her body, an acrid scent going with it. Even the tears burn from her eyes, squeezed shut to try to prevent the blessed stuff from getting inside them.
