Anakin followed, planning to figure out where he would sleep later, assuming there wasn't something else to do. It would be nice to have some time to puzzle out what he wanted.
But once in the medbay, he pays rapt attention, asking questions when he didn't understand something. The machinery was certainly something which pulled his interest more than anything, and he was attempting to read Garth'zel well enough to know how much he could pester him with questions about them.
