"Ok." Anakin followed - again, closely, although not grabbing Garth'zel's hand (yet). People weren't looking at him (them) in a suspicious way that Anakin felt the need to make a statement on.
Anakin was trying to do the same, memorize things to use as landmarks in case something happened and they got separated. He didn't that was likely, but it wasn't impossible and Anakin didn't want to be a burden or be caught helpless.
