"How long do I gotta wait?" he asks. He honestly doesn't know the answer. He doesn't have a clear memory of how long it took his mother to clean his clothes before. She just took his clothes and then handed them back later. It wasn't something he paid attention to. "An'- an' what do I do until then?"
