"I imagine Michael would be a very cranky drunk, yes," Castiel nods. Although under the right circumstances, he's not entirely pleasant either.

"I don't think anyone who stumbled across Michael drunk would live to tell the tale regardless of the circumstances." Except for the other Archangels, of course.

"I suppose that's true. Then they'd simply have to worry about him tracking them down after the fact."

"I don't have an obsession with this planet." Even if he would shatter every rule in the book, and no doubt some unwritten ones as well, to save it.

"I'm not being defensive." Well, not intentionally, at least. "Anyway, drunk or sober, if Michael ever gets out of the Cage, it would probably be a good idea for me to stay away from him regardless."

"Yes, most likely." Between the molotov incident, helping the Winchesters, and all of the things he's done since, Castiel is positive nothing good could ever come from Michael being released from the Cage.

"Well, I wasn't really doing anything that can't wait, but if you need to go, then go. I'm fine. You don't needto stay on my account." Castiel sits back up, watching his big brother. "But, Gabriel, if you decide you'd like to talk about whatever is bothering you enough that you got that drunk last night... You know I would do whatever I could to help, right?"

"All right. Well, you know where to find me, regardless," Castiel nods, with a slight smile. "Most of the time, at least."

"Exactly." He figures if he ever learns to consistently keep Gabriel from figuring out where he is, he'll be able to hide from just about anything else he might honestly need to.

Castiel is persistent enough that he should be able to figure it out on his own eventually. There is definitely an appeal in a game he can learn from.

"You know, they would probably object a lot less if you chose less lethal methods of punishing your victims." Truth be told, he would object a lot less too, although he certainly doesn't expect to see any sort of change in Gabriel or his behaviour.
