In my defense, I knew nothing about the seasons of fig trees. Bigger things to focus on.
You wouldn't believe how many different versions of the story there are nowadays. And all of them make me look like a damned pillock.

Plants having seasons when they provide food is pretty basic info. And hey. At least some of them make you look good like the feeding thousands of people with what's normally enough food to feed two or three. Maybe four, if people aren't particularly hungry.

But there are just so *many* plants to keep track of.
This is why I took up gardening, to avoid such things and actually educate myself. You should see my tomato plants.
That may have been a little bit exaggerated, actually. Transplanting bits of food from one area in reality to another while people were distracted was fairly easy, with the good PR the disciples provided.

No one said you needed to know the ins and outs of every plant on the planet. Just the ones relevant to the Middle East, since that's where you were in the first place.
So, did a bunch of rich people that could afford the loss get to have some 'where the fuck did my dinner go?'

I've noticed that around 95% of rich people are jackasses that don't deserve their wealth since they fuck over everybody else to get it. So I approve. Of you, not them.
