"Do I seem like I'm having an issue with it right now?" Gabriel asks with his own raised eyebrows. Granted, he doesn't always feel like post-coital cuddles, but that's not to say he wants to avoid them every time.

"This isn't snuggling," Dean protests, almost pouting. "It's...chilling after a round of aerobic sex. And I'm takin' the left side of the bed once we're done chillin'."

Because he needs to make that claim and he's not going to share his pillow either.

"How much do you actually believe what you're saying?" Gabriel asks, amused. He has no problem with Dean laying claim to a side of the bed. Once Gabriel actually moves, anyway. That might be a bit longer.

"One hundred percent. Give or take," Dean mumbles, resting his head back and closing his eyes again. He feels too damn good to actually argue any points here. "Good for you too?"

"Mm-hmm." Gabriel's quiet for a little while longer, content to take the moment to enjoy getting to stay put and not have an argument or any other sort of contretemps with Dean.

Although eventually... "You about ready for me to move so you can deal with clean up and get some sleep?"

"Mmph, you're gonna have to do the clean up and all that crap," Dean mumbles, already half-way to the sleeping part of the plan thanks to that nice long quiet period. "'M not movin'."

"Not even enough to get yourself under the blankets so you don't get cold once your human-shaped heat generator goes away?" Gabriel jibes at him gently.

[impala_is_my_baby]

"Dammit, Gabriel," Dean huffs and gives an impatient wriggle under him, "You're the one with the mojo here. Just make the blankets move around me."

Gabriel just shakes his head and presses a quick kiss on Dean before snapping the blankets into covering them. He then pulls out of Dean, snapping his fingers after for clean up before rolling over to Dean's right to let him get his preferred side of the bed.

Now that is how you get situated after some hot sex. No muss, no fuss, just snap, clean and human burrito in blankets. Hells to the yeah.

He's too wiped to even notice any issues in his lower half, although those will make themselves known in the morning. Nice and loudly, too. But for now, he's content with just rolling onto his front in his favorite sleeping position and dozing off, face smashed into the pillow. He would have picked up sex with guys a lot sooner if he had known he wouldn't have to worry too much about conversations and cuddling afterwards. Just nice, blissful sleep.

Yeah, he'll definitely be feeling it in the morning. Just as well that Gabriel has a nice big tub Dean can fill up to soak in, hmm? Meanwhile, he'll stick around for awhile to see if Dean decides to go human octopus in his sleep, then go occupy himself with his televison or whatever while waiting for him to wake up.

Giant tub for soaking, hells yeah. As long as Gabriel doesn't dump a bunch of bath bombs into the damn thing while Dean is in it and snap photos, then posts them on Instagram and calls them 'aesthetic.' Because that might be the only thing it takes for him to deny Gabriel a second chance ever again.

There might be a human octopus impression somewhere in the night--it's only natural for him to be drawn to the heat source nearby.

Why oh why would he screw up a chance to get into Dean's pants ever again? And wouldn't it be more of a third chance, given New Year's? Although that would be one hell of a bubble bath. Might be a little hard to find Dean under all the bubbles.

Second time as a man, then, unless Gabriel wants to do the sex switch again. Totally up to him.

As long as they're both agreed on avoiding bath bombs. And if Gabriel is still in bed, he's getting an arm wrapped around his waist after a particularly loud snore.

Gabriel's going to save that one for rare occasions. Sure, it doesn't matter overly much what parts his vessel has, but he's still most used to the ones he's wearing. Although there's a part of him that's tempted to announce a switch by popping up in Dean's lap to watch the reaction.

Gabriel had actually been thinking about getting going when Dean latches on. Well then. Looks like he's staying put awhile longer.

Oh yes, that will be a fun day, and watching Dean's reaction will only make it better.

Dean is out for the rest of the night, which is saying something to just how much Gabriel wore him out. Good night, moon.

It would take a bit of work to accomplish without spoiling the surprise by calling Dean and asking him where he was. First looking for the car, then flitting around from place to place in a potentially expanding search pattern to find him.

Gabriel eventually takes off for another part of the apartment because laying around doing nothing all night is a good way to result in a bored archangel. Not helpful for the world in general. Better that he sees if there's any late night programming actually worth bothering with.

It is also better for when Dean wakes up that he isn't wrapped around the angel, because when sober daylight hits, it's going to be...rough going. And he tries to be as quiet as possible, even as he hobbles around in a lot of discomfort in his lower region, finding discarded clothing, not even bothering with a shower or teeth brushing. He's going to try and sneak out--which is probably the stupidest idea ever, considering he's in New York City, hundreds of miles from the bunker, and Gabriel is an archangel.

There's also that whole thing where Gabriel is right there in the living room, trying to find something new to watch after a movie finished and Dean has no choice but to go past him.

"Going somewhere?" Gabriel asks, not even turning around to look at Dean. "Go help yourself to what's in the medicine cabinet and soak in a hot bath for awhile."

Don't even bother with the front door, it's not unlocking for anyone that isn't an archangel. Just do what Gabriel says. Things will feel much better after. Yeah, there'll probably still be some soreness, but it should be more manageable.

Dean nearly jumps out of his skin, but that only makes the throbbing worse, and he glares at Gabriel. The guy seems just so damn normal in the daylight, lounging around watching TV, and that's just not fair. But a bath does sound pretty good at the moment. And that whole being in New York with an archangel occurs to him as well.

Wordlessly, he turns back around and goes back into the bedroom to the bathroom. The bath is enormous and looks inviting. He turns on the taps to let the thing fill, although he avoids the medicine cabinet. Sure, he'll let the guy put his dick in him, but he's not about to raid his cabinet for drugs. Who knows what the hell he'd find in there.

When the tub fills, he does climb in, settling into the hot water with a satisfied sigh, eyes shutting in pleasure.

It's just perfectly normal things like Advil and one or two other kinds of painkillers of varying strength that he's got in there for anyone that stays the night that ends up needing them. No need to be paranoid.

At whatever point he finally reemerges, he'll find Gabriel gave up on finding anything good on and put dinosaurs on tv instead. As in showing what real ones from millions of years ago were doing.

Even so, Dean's not going to trust anything more potent than toothpaste at this point. And the bath helps big time with easing a lot of the discomfort. He's half-surprised there's not kind of trick played on him while he's in the tub, but he's not about to complain.

He looks between Gabriel and the television, eyebrows raised.

"So, uh. Got any coffee around here?"

Gabriel looks over at Dean from watching some hadrosaurs doing their dinosaur things like keeping an eye on the little ones to make sure none of them do anything stupid with his own raised eyebrow. "Why don't you try looking in the kitchen?"

"Nice way to play host," Dean says with a sigh and making his way into the kitchen to start rifling through the cabinets, searching for any kind of coffee, mug to go with it.

While it percolates, he opens the refrigerator, seeing if there's any food beyond the beers and liquor from the night before. Like bacon. Bacon would be awesome.

Hey, not Gabriel's fault that Dean didn't look for it first. It's really not that hard to find. And yes, there is food in the fridge for Dean that Gabriel put in there last night at the same time as the beer. There should be just enough variety to make Dean happy.

"If it's basic food-type stuff, assume it's in there somewhere," he says, twisting around and resting one arm on the back of the couch to watch Dean.
