It wouldn't have been such a big deal if the rest of you hadn't closed your eyes and pretended everything was just fine. But no, in He comes and says 'look at this family of mice I found in the back of a drawer, aren't they cute; worship them!' Excuse me for thinking He was off his barnet.
1. They're a bit bigger than mice. 2. He didn't just find them, He had them happening in mind in the first place.
Personally, I actually thought they were interesting. We all know what *you* thought, Raphael could take em or leave em, Michael mostly loved them because Dad told him to.
1. Mice are smarter 2. He still made us first. Quit while you're ahead.
It was still four against one. I still don't really understand it; giving us free will and then not letting us exercise it. What exactly was the point?
If I have my way, there won't *be* another Apocalypse. And not that you care about anyone that'd be caught in the middle, but I'm probably sure you wanna skip having another one because of Michael.
::He can't help having the feeling that answering is a bad idea, but...::
It takes him a hot second to make himself known. Sure, there's quite the population to sift through, but an angel's grace is easy to find when he knows what he's looking for, and where. It takes one pass of the city to hone in on Gabriel's position, and then Lucifer alights gently on the floorboards with a rush of wings.
Gabriel manages to resist the urge to jump and sticks to a suppressed twitch. Then he stands to avoid his brother towering over him quite so much. "What? Lots of people and depending on where I go, no one's gonna notice one more person."
Lucifer has to cover his mouth to stop himself from outright laughing, and meets his brother's eyes just a moment later.
"Did you really just say a snowball's chance in Hell? One of these days, Gabriel--one of these days." He shook his head, and took a careful step forward. "Okay. So maybe I'm just feeling a little lonely."
"What? It's a popular saying." Gabriel keeps a careful eye on his brother, wings rustling nervously. He believes Lucifer about him having no intention of hurting him, but still. "I'm sure that you've picked up a few things here and there."

[ Yes, he is sulking. ]
I'm bored of the phone now, Gabriel.

Somewhere on the planet.
::More specifically, in his current apartment in New York. Half a continent away from the Winchesters, making it hard for them to find him.::
