If Garth'zel wasn't blind from hibernation sickness, he'd give the set of soldiers who were his dubious rescuers from carbonite a very unamused look. As it is, he does a fairly good impression of doing so. "Clearly, no one warned you of the dangers of angering a Sith."

He may be weakened from his stay in carbonite, but not that much. A hand stretches out, Force lightning shooting forth to show them the error of their ways. Assuming they survive it.

"I'll bring something to eat. I'm sure that will help with your recovery as well. It will certainly help keep your energy up." Kylo watched him for a few moments before turning and leaving, making sure the door closed behind him.

Then he was certain to let everyone on the ship know that no one was to disturb the man in his chambers. Though he didn't explain who he was or why.

Garth'zel's stomach lurches at the thought of food and if his eyes weren't already closed, he'd be closing them tightly. As it is, he needs a moment. "The prospect of food should be appealing by then, yes."

That said, time to sink into a healing trance to deal with his assorted physical issues.

It was hours later when the man finally returned with a tray of food. He stood outside the door for a moment before knocking. He would at least let the man have the option of opening the door.

"I have brought you some food!" He called out.

By this point, Garth'zel is feeling better enough to open the door himself instead of using the Force. "Come in."

Kylo stepped inside, carrying the tray over to a nearby table and setting it down before turning and looking at the Sith. He studied him for a long moment, watching the way the man moved now that he'd had time to heal and feel better.

"How are you feeling now?"

Garth'zel's movements are a lot more sure, now that he can see where he's going.

"No longer inclined to be sick," Garth'zel comments dryly as he closes the door to head over to the table. Now that's been cleared up, he's hungry.

"Well that is an improvement. You will have all the time you need to recuperate if you need it. You are not a prisoner here. You are here as my guest, so should you wish to depart, just let me know where it is you wish to go." He said, sitting down at the table.

Garth'zel can't quite help giving the other man a skeptical look as he takes his seat to start working his way through his food. "Why? I'm sure there's something you want, rather than just me taking off."

There was a moment of silence, fingers tapping on the table before he sighed. "You talked...about training. Before." He said, shaking his head. "Would you? Genuinely?"

Garth'zel nods. "Yes. It'll take some time before I feel up for it, but I can."

Obviously, he's going to need to figure out how to cope with everyone and everything that matters to him being gone first. With a side of getting himself caught up with current events.

"Of course. You can take all the time you need. We have anything you could want here as well. I know...you will want to catch up, to learn things about how things are now." He said.

"Mmm." Garth'zel concentrates on his food for a moment. "Is the ship heading anywhere in particular?"

Not that he wants to demand they go to a specific location. He just wants to know where they're going.

"Not really. I mean, eventually we will be moving on to where we want our new Starkiller to be. More fortified, so that the Resistance can't come in and destroy it like they did the first one." He said absently.

Garth'zel raises an eyebrow. "That name sounds ominous."

Along with being very Sith-like. What is with other Sith and their need for destructive weapons with those sorts of names? At least the one he funded didn't have a ridiculous name and only took out one or two ships at a time.

"I didn't come up with the name. It was amazing though. The base was capable of taking out entire star systems from halfway across the galaxy." He said softly, smiling a bit for just a moment before frowning again when he suddenly thought of his father.

Garth'zel makes a soft choking sound. "How about we not murder Force knows how many people?"

Yes, he definitely prefers the superweapon he funded as part of his bid for power and thus survival.

"We did it to put an end to the Senate and the Republic once and for all!" He exclaimed, sitting up straighter and shaking his head. "We would bring order to the galaxy!"

"You destroyed Coruscant," Garth'zel says carefully, his temper rising. "I suppose you decided that the trillions of innocent people you murdered were acceptable collateral damage?"

He blinked, staring at the other for a long moment before his brows furrowed and he frowned. Honestly, he actually hadn't thought of that and he wasn't sure why. He'd gone to see Snoke before the attack and the Supreme Leader had told him how important it was that they remove the Senate completely.

He felt like there was more to it than that, but the rest of the memory was fuzzy at best until just after he gave the command to destroy the system.

"Well?" Garth'zel prompts after a moment of getting no response. He's clearly made the man think about things, but still. An answer would be nice.

"I never...thought about them. I don't..." He looked confused himself, lowering his head. "I don't understand. I didn't think about...anything. Beyond destroying the senate. Why?"

"That's for you to answer, not me," Garth'zel says evenly. "Although I would like to point out that by doing that, you made sure there is probably a rather large portion of the galaxy inclined to fight back, lest you try to do the same thing to them."

"No its..." He paused again as he tried to remember the events of that day and his full motivations but it was still so fuzzy. Something wasn't quite right. "The First Order would stop them..." He said absently, blinking before lifting his eyes. "What if the Supreme Leader....can he have altered my mind?"

"That's like asking if Hoth is a frozen wasteland. Unless you blew that planet up, too?" Garth'zel says acidly. "So you're saying someone else made you do it."

The other man realizes how weak that sounds as an excuse, doesn't he?

"No I didn't blow Hoth up...and no. I had planned to destroy the senate regardless." He said firmly, looking at the other and frowning. "I'd never had any intention of...I wanted to evacuate the other people." He knew how weak it sounded, but it was the truth.
